The Tuesday afternoon Ministry Forum will focus on our new Network Vision, Mission, Core Values and Initiatives. Together we can develop strong relationships that foster healthy leaders and healthy churches. We will present how this clarified focus affects our departments, the Windsor Center for Leadership Development and our structure. Every minister needs to be there Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 pm.
NC18 at Amityville, NY is themed Hope from Romans 15:13 “May the God of HOPE fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Convoy of Hope will be our special guests. I am praying we can receive the largest Network Conference offering ever for Convoy. I am asking every assembly to announce in advance and then receive a generous offering for Convoy of Hope to be received at Network Conference.

May the God of HOPE fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

HOPE!  It is a part of so much of what we do. It is an attribute of God that should inform how we live our daily lives; lives filled with HOPE! This year’s Network Conference theme of HOPE is meant to engender that in every aspect of ministry in the New York Ministry Network. I encourage you and those in ministry with you to make every effort to come to Network Conference ’18 to be filled with HOPE for the future of your ministry. Pastor Jimmy Jack and the staff of Freedom Chapel in Amityville, Long Island will host us. I will be taking time, with our officers and members of the Strategic Planning Committee, to unfold our new Vision, Mission, Values and Initiatives in the Tuesday afternoon Ministry Forum. This will affect everything we do in the New York Ministry Network. I believe you will be greatly encouraged and filled with HOPE for the future.

I will be ministering in the ordination service on Tuesday night as we recognize the outstanding Christian leadership of His Excellency John Mahama, former President of Ghana. President Mahama will be sharing some thoughts on Spirit-directed leadership at a national level.

Wednesday and Thursday, we will focus our attention on Convoy of Hope and the outstanding ministry to the hurting in our world. Michael McNamee will be ministering Wednesday morning. Michael, a former member of the IRA, is the European Director for Convoy of Hope. Wednesday evening John Elefante, lead singer for the award-winning group Kansas, will be with us with his band in concert. Thursday morning, Hal Donaldson, founder and CEO of Convoy of Hope will be our speaker and will be recognized for his leadership that has touched millions of lives, including those in New York impacted by Hurricane Sandy. Workshops and a ladies’ tea on Wednesday will resource us all as church leaders. There is also a missions’ luncheon of Wednesday by advance registration only.

Please don’t miss this opportunity to be refreshed, resourced and re-fired for your ministry. Bev and I HOPE to see you there. We are family and better together.

If no one told you today that you are loved, I do!

Duane
